4 charged in N.J. double shooting that left 1 dead

Four people have been charged in a double shooting that left one person dead and another wounded in July, authorities said.
Lahmeir Hill, 31, of Pemberton Borough, and Sadiq Palmer, 25, of Freehold Borough, were charged with one count each of first-degree murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder and weapons offenses, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.
Simone K. Moultrie, 53, of Red Bank, was charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder, and hindering, officials said. Ticco Griffin, 29, of Red Bank, was charged with one count of hindering.
The victim, Mikal Muhammad, 36, of Red Bank, who was found by police on the 100 block of River Street at 3:13 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the prosecutor’s office said.
A second man who was also shot was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center and released after treatment, authorities said.
